I Believe:
  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.  The new covenant as recorded in the New Testament, I accept as the infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).
  • There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:26, Gen 3:22, Isaiah 11:12, Matthew 28:19)
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is deity that He was born of a virgin, that we are redeemed by His atoning death through His shed blood, that He bodily resurrected and ascended into Heaven, and that He will come again in power and great glory. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51)
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God, sent into the world to redeem man from sin (John 3:16).
  • Man must be born again by confessing Jesus as God’s son and repenting of the sin we are born into because of Adam’s original sin (Genesis 3, Romans 3, 5, 10:9-11).
  • People are saved through a direct, personal encounter with the risen Lord, at which time they are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.  This event we hold to be an experience, rather than a doctrinal supposition.
  • We are to spread the Gospel of the kingdom (Romans 14:17) wherever possible and by whatever means God puts at our disposal (Matthew 24:14, Mark 16:15-20).  We are to begin at home and spread the good news throughout the whole world.
  • God loves us and desires to have an intimate relationship with us continually.  We should seek to daily walk with God, letting Him guide and direct us into His perfect will for our lives.  He also desires to be our source for everything we need.  We seek to learn to trust and obey Him more each day.


CODE OF ETHICS:
  • I am committed to minister in a way that will not bring shame or reproach to the Name of the Lord.  This includes relationships among, associates, friends & neighbors and others.  (1 Peter 1:13-16)
  • I stand on the premise that believers are to live self controlled, upright and godly lives in keeping with the Scriptures.  (Titus 2:11-14)
  • I recognize and respect other individuals and organizations and will refrain from criticism and will follow the standards of Matthew 18 whenever possible.  (1 Peter 3:8-9)
